My gg aunt, Vista Strickland, wrote about her childhood in Shinbone Valley, Clay and Talladega Counties, Alabama between about 1900-1910. She is now deceased & I think she would get a kick out of sharing it with possible descendants of Shinbone Valley.

A lot of families that lived in the counties are listed in her memoirs & might find it of interest....
